Another method I found effective in teaching is to pass on the passion. This does depend on the student but if you can develop the same passion you have for a topic or subject into the student, it creates enthusiasm and ambition. Hence, the student listens more carefully and is interested in the topic. This increases their attention span, makes them think out of the box, and ask questions. To achieve this goal, I found it useful to identify the students’ strength and create a link between their strength and the subject.
